Laminated Veener Lumber (LVL)

Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) is a Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is a layered composite of wood veneers and adhesive. Once it is fabricated into billets of various thicknesses and widths, it can be cut at the factory into stock for headers and beams, flanges for prefabricated wood I-joists, or for other specific uses. Veneer thicknesses range from 1.2mm to 6mm and common species are Paulonia, Poplar, Pine and Fir.
